This summer a friend of mine was at a noble wedding and saw Fürst Otto and Fürstin Sophia zu Castell-Rüdenhausen there. She was clearly pregnant. When they got engaged and married there was an announcement on the website of the municipality of Rüdenhausen where they live, but not this time. The same friend recently informed me that she had heard that the birth had been listed in a list of births in a newspaper in Würzburg, which unfortunately wasn’t online. I luckily still had an emailaddress for the general representative of the family.
The answer came pretty soon:
I am happy to announce that Fürst and Fürstin zu Castell-Rüdenhausen became the proud parents of a son on October 13, 2020.
The name is Lelio Johann-Friedrich Theodor, mother and child are doing well.
Congratulations to the parents! I am not too sure where the name Lelio comes from, but Johann-Friedrich was the late father of the Fürst, who died in 2014. And Theodor is the name of the father of the Fürstin.
How romantic for them to have their baby in the fall! His birthday will forever lead to the happiness of the winter holidays when his family members can get together and always keep up with his progress. Hope to see his photos sometime soon! Thank you for sharing this happy news with us!
whose noble wedding?
Count Augustinus von und zu Trauttmansdorff-Weinsberg and Princess Alice zu Hohenlohe-Waldenburg-Schillingsfürst on 25 July 2020.
Thank you! ❤
