My new book is finally there!

Just like five years ago photographer Bernard Rübsamen asked me to write the texts for his new photobook: 10 Jaar Koningspaar (10 years royal couple) on the occasion of the 10th anniversary on the throne of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands. The book has 240 pages full of wonderful photos by Bernard Rübsamen and has been published by Boektotaal Uitgeverij. Although my name is not on the cover, I am not mentioned on the cover of the book, but inside you can find my name several times and even a wonderful photo taken by Carla Koehorst.

In 10 YEARS ROYAL COUPLE you will find a selection of the most beautiful and impressive moments that have occurred during the first decade of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima’s reign. Five years after his first book, the internationally renowned photographer Bernard Rübsamen has selected his best photos to let all those interested in the royal family enjoy the events where our King and Queen have appeared. State visits, introductions to all regions, King’s and Prince’s Day, holidays in Lech; they all pass by. The royal couple is also present at events that deeply affect the perception of the Dutch people, such as Remembrance Day, Memorial Day and the unveiling of the Holocaust Names Monument. Social aspects such as MIND Us and VPTZ, Pension3daagse and Invictus Games also receive attention. Of course, the brilliant photographs of the royal visit to the Caribbean part of the Kingdom are not missing. Rübsamen has made an extensive reportage of the overseas trip during which Princess Amalia accompanied her parents. Enjoy this wonderful document on 10 years of the royal couple!
