Today 10 years ago it was the wedding day of Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and Daniel Westling. I have lovely memories of that day, and I hope I will come back to Sweden one day, as it has been too long.
It has just been raining gorgeous photos of the couple taken by Elisabeth Toll for the Royal Court, taken around Gustav III’s Pavilion in the Haga Park, Solna. What I do love about the pictures too, is that they look perfect, but if you look carefully, you’ll see things that you normally don’t see back on official pictures.
As they partly have been taken outside, one of the first pictured showed little goslings with their parents surrounding Victoria and Daniel. And the photo that was released yesterday had a few people walking on the path below them. They probably never noticed Victoria and Daniel posing.
On the royal website they asked people to send in their memories, so I did. What a surprise to find mine among the ones that were published on the website. If I had known, I would probably have done my best a bit more to write something.

Thank you for the lovely video of Crown Princess Victoria’s and Prince Daniel’s wedding! Everything about it was beautifully done from the guests arrivals, to the choir and music, the recitation of their vows and their carriage ride through town. It was a splendid experience! Thank you for sharing this with us!!!
