Imperial wedding in Bonn

It is already a while ago this wedding took place, but I hope you enjoy the report and photos by two of my friends (including Stefan from Royal Travel Events) as much as I do.

On 27 July 2024 Archduke Pál of Austria married Antonia Lütz at the Bonner Münster in Bonn, Germany. The civil ceremony already took place in München, Germany, on 4 May 2024. The bride, wearing a small tiara, an old veil and an old train with gold embroidery, arrived via a back entrance and was thus not visible to the onlookers. Luckily, after the service the bridal couple showed up in front of the Münster, although surrounded by their guests and many bubbles. They drove off in an old British taxi.

The groom was born in 1997 as son of Archduke István of Austria – a grandson of Emperor Karl and Empress Zita of Austria – and Paola de Temesváry. Antonia was born in 1996 as daughter of Manfred Lütz and Princess Isabelle zu Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg.

The guest list was full of royals, the most important and surprising one among them being Princess Elisabeth of Belgium, the Duchess of Brabant. From Luxembourg came Prince Guillaume and Princess Sibilla with their children Prince Paul-Louis and Princess Charlotte de Nassau. Present were among others Archduke Michael and Archduchess Christiana of Austria, Archduke Carl Peter and Archduchess Alexandra of Austria, Archduke Simeon and Archduchess Maria of Austria with two sons, Fürst Aloys-Konstantin zu Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg, Princess Stephanie zu Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg and Princess Augustina zu Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg, Fürst Franz Josef and Fürstin Constanza von Auersperg-Trautson, Margravine of Meissen, Don Infant Afonso (Prince of Beira) and Don Infant Diniz de Bragança, Duchess Amelie von Württemberg with her husband.

The German magazine Bunte had a report in their issue of 15 August 2024; the French magazine Point de Vue in their issue dated 21 August 2024.
