One of the first weddings in the royal and mediatized houses of this year took place on Saturday 30 April 2022 in the beautiful Catholic Parish Church St. Margareta in Altenmarkt an der Alz, Bavaria, Germany.
Count Ludwig zu Stolberg-Stolberg married Annabelle Garbe. He was born in 1984 as son of Count Otto zu Stolberg-Stolberg and Countess Stefanie von Matuschka, Freiin von Toppolczan und Spaetgen. The bride is of noble descend and is the youngest daughter of Claus Garbe and Cornelia Gumberz Edle von Rhonthal.
The bride didn’t wear a tiara, but a lovely lace veil. A reception took place afterwards at Amerang Castle.
My friend who travelled to Altenmarkt to see the wedding didn’t recognise too many guests, apart from Princess Olga zu Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg and her sister Countess Anna Magdalena zu Castell-Rüdenhausen.
Thanks for the lovely report and pictures!
I love the simplicity and elegance of the dress but feel the veil needed a tiara on top of it, it looks strange and unfinished to me
