Instead of enjoying her life as a student in Amsterdam, the security of the Princess of Orange, Catharina-Amalia, has been tightened considerably a few weeks ago. She appears in organized crime communications, that show there could be plans to attack or kidnap her. For the 18-year-old Amalia that means that plans to move to Amsterdam have been put on hold. At the moment she stays at the Huis ten Bosch Palace with her parents. On the last day of their state visit to Sweden her parents King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands have said that she is hardly able to leave the house, except for going to university in Amsterdam. And the consequences are of course very difficult for her, as she has been deprived of most of her freedom right now.
