After the Dutch royals, also the Spanish royals came with new official photos. For the first time in many years there were new official portraits of King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia, and for the first time also of Leonor, Princess of Asturias, and Infanta Sofia. In the past ten years or so, the Casa Real only from time to time issued nice family pictures upon anniversaries. Even when Felipe became the new King of Spain in 2014 there were no new official photos made,, except for a few of Felipe himself in his three uniforms. In total there were ten pictures this time, all taken by Estela de Castro. Hopefully we don’t have to wait another ten+ years before the next official portraits are being issued.
